Max hesitated before admitting, "I got attracted to her the moment I saw her. We had a one-night stand, and I couldn't shake off how she made me feel."

He confessed his calculated move to move into the neighborhood to get closer to Emily, all the while keeping his marriage a secret. "I just have s****l intentions towards her," he nonchalantly added, a declaration that left Duke visibly uneasy.
