Angel gently walked down the long line of groomed war horses, his eyes carefully scanning them. His eyes were trained behind his back, his mind reeling with other things apart from the horses laying in front of him. Lucan has barely spoken about him ever since, and to his own astonishment, it hurt. It hurt way more than he thought it would. Way more than he believed he had the capacity to feel the pain.
