Adeline slowly woke up to the bright rays of the morning sun on her face. She gave a small sigh, then stretched her hands in front of her, her lips parting in a yawn. She had a banging headache, and it made her almost dizzy. Instead of sitting up, she slowly lay back in bed, her eyes closed as she took in a deep breath.
