Kyle had a huge smile on his face as he sat scrolling through his camera roll. Yesterday had been one of the best days of his life and he couldn’t wipe the smile. He now finally had a girlfriend, his first girlfriend for that matter.
“Aren’t you supposed to be taking Akina to school?” Linda asked.
Kyle turned to look at her standing in the doorway with her hands folded over her chest. He shot up from his bed and nearly face-planted into the floor as his feet got tangled in the sheets.
