🌑 Chapter 30 – The System’s Return The next morning, while Xavier was packing their things in preparation to leave, the broken holo-monitors around the safehouse suddenly flickered to life. One by one, they began to glow—each screen pulsing as if alive. Then, across all the monitors, the same message appeared in bold light: > “PROJECT ETERNA REBOOT – PHASE 2 ACTIVE.” Xavier froze, his hands turning cold. > “That’s impossible… we destroyed the core,” he whispered. He ran toward Althea’s room—his heart pounding. But the moment he stepped inside, he froze. Althea stood by the window, staring at the rising sun. Her hair shimmered faintly silver as the light touched it, and on the back of her neck, glowing data lines had begun to appear—threads of light sinking into her skin.
