Priscilla didn't lift her gaze, merely asking coolly, "I don't know Soulrend Pack's rules. But in the royal palace, anyone who offends or frames a Lycan Luna faces life imprisonment or exile. Does your pack have no such punishments? If not, surely you have corporal penalties."
Alpha Manfred knew Priscilla was there for Melinda.
She usually didn't meddle, so this must be on Adelaide's behalf.
Adelaide wasn't here because she didn't want to be seen as interfering in pack matters. Priscilla was different. As the old Lycan King's New Moon Priestess, and with the old Lycan King being Alpha Howell's brother, she's got a clearer path to act.
She was here representing Melinda's family. It was not a perfect fit, but it made sense.
