If they're from the Western Tribe, I guess their target is Velda, to avenge the deceased prince. But as for Germain's purpose, I really can't figure it out," she said, a faint edge flashing in her cedar-scented presence at the mention of Velda.
Paisley remarked, "Well, maybe we're just being overly sensitive. Perhaps they're merely freelancers seeking work in the capital."
Adelaide, however, wasn't inclined to take that chance. "Keep them under surveillance. Report any developments immediately."
