Paisley called Jasmine over and said, "Tell Adelaide that everything's fine here for now."
Jasmine took the message and headed to the performance area to find Adelaide. She relayed Paisley's words in a low voice.
At that moment, Adelaide was accompanying guests watching the show. On her left sat Penelope from the Stormridge Pack, and on her right was Sibyl.
The stage was featuring a birthday-themed performance. Given that it was a birthday banquet, such acts were nothing out of the ordinary.
The ladies present, though having witnessed similar shows multiple times before, had gathered not merely for the spectacle but for the company—to engage in conversation and to strengthen the bonds between them.
