ILA POV

Hello, I am Ila Flores. I am 25 years old for this world, but I don't know myself what's my age. Are you asking why? Because I am GRIM REAPER. Yes, Grim Reaper. The person you meet after the death to take you to hell or heaven. But I am a new generation Grim Reaper. I live here and most of the Grim Reaper too. To make it easier for us to take the person. In every city, we have one Grim Reaper, that Grim Reaper has given the duty to take the dead soul from that city.

Currently, I work for Thunderworth. Yes, I work as an assistant there so no one doubts me. I eat and sleep as a normal human, in front of everyone. I don't need to do it but have to so no one doubts. People think I am sweet and shy to talk to anyone. But the reason, I don't contact anyone is my past. I don't know who knows me, as I don't recognize anyone from my past and if anyone does it will be a problem. I don't know why but I have no memory of my past, whereas other Grim Reapers have their memories and who doesn't it's their own choice.

Right now, I am eating breakfast while checking my human boss mails. Our company is facing many financial problems, so our boss is working day and night to get a project. But if it goes on like this he will be meeting my other side soon. I finished my breakfast, to get a mail-in my other mobile. Which is used by us Grim Reapers, given to us by our highers. 

"NEW SOUL AT 3 PM, THUNDERWORTH INDUSTRY, EXACT LOCATION 3RD FLOOR IN ELEVATOR. JOB FOR ILA"

That means I don't have to travel, a good thing. But who's gonna die. I will know at 2:59 pm. It's like this because once one of us got seriously attach with human and tried to save that human. So authorities made this rule. Let's go to the office.

Our company makes and supplies house furniters. When my boss started this company he was very famous but from few years there's a company who is making difficult for us they bid every project that we bid for. If rumours to believe there's a mole in this company.

"Hey, Ila Good Morning" Clovia one of my co-workers greeted me with her 2 other co-workers

"Good Morning," I said back

"Is it true that our company is getting take over?" Junia asked

"Currently, no" I replied and went towards my office

My cabin has blue colour walls, with one side see-through glass door, with black tiles floor. My cabin is on the 3rd floor while my boss cabin is on the 4th floor.

Yes, our company may get take over, only if our current boss agrees to sell it or dies. Because many shareholders of our company have sold their shares to an unknown person. So, there are higher chances of taking over. Suddenly, my intercom starts ringing, I look to see it's my boss.

"Ila, come to the office," he said and cut the call

I went through the elevator on the 4th floor, which is his office. Simple and sweet office, he has potted plants in his office, he like calm things. So his office wallpapers are white with a green plain design on it. I knock on the door, as I reached there.

"Come in" He answered

"You called, sir," I said

"Yes, cancel today's meetings I am not well," He said

"Shall I call your doctor?" I asked

"No need," he said and went out

At the same time, my GR phone ranged, I looked to see my boss name blinking on it, as it was already 2:59 pm

"TIBERIUS GRATIDIUS CORDUS"

So in the end, I am getting a new boss, let's go to do my original job.
