"Xavier, what happen to your face?" Imani asked, pulling the front door open. The left side of his jaw was swollen and his right eye was slightly black.
"Nothing, I'm fine" he walked inside and leaned forward and kissed Imani "What u doin?"
"I was watching a movie upstairs" she started walking upstairs and into her room, closing the door behind Xavier. "U sure your ok?" She gentle rubbed her fingers over his jaw.
"Yea, can u get me a bag of ice or somethin. This s**t startin to hurt"
Imani went to grab him something while Xavier took off his shoes and climbed into her bed, under the covers.
When she returned, she had a small bag of ice in her hands. "Anything else u need?"
