Its been 2 months since Miya officially joined my pack but from the moment i met her 5 months ago, i thought she was beautiful. Miya is about 5ft 3 her skin is flawless with a golden brown sun kissed glow but her features are the same black curly hair and big brown eyes she shares with her grandma. After everything miya has been through in the last 5 months I gave miya 6 weeks to settle in before she had to train and i give a job among the pack. But last night while laying i bed i felt her trying to mindlink me. It was the first time she had tried so i thought something might be wrong so i opened a mindlink “miya is everything ok?”

“everything is fine i just wanted to ask what time training is in the morning? I know i still have 2 weeks before you expect me there but im getting bored of doing nothing now” i started to relax after knowing there was nothing wrong “if your sure then 9am at the pack house make sure your not late” and i ended the mind link.

I woke up to the sun peaking through the curtains of my room i reached under the pillow for my phone to check the time. Seeing the time i dragged my self out of bed and climbed in the shower think about all the paperwork i had to do in my office today with a pack of about 400 wolves there’s always lots to do to keep everything running smoothly, my beta Jacob was there to help but as the alpha it was ultimately my responsibility. After getting dressed i went down to the kitchen to grab a coffee before heading to my office before training.

After an hour of doing paperwork it was time for training as i walked into the training grounds i saw everyone had already paired off in their usual pairs already in full swing everyone was there but miya. i was stood over by the bench at the edge of the room checking my phone it was 9.20 she was 20 minutes late when i saw miya walk in while slowly looking around i walked up behind her and cleared my throat causing her to spin round so fast she collided with my chest as i looked down at her i couldnt help a little grin appear on my face.

"didnt i tell you not to be late?" i said impatientley looking down at her i could tell i was pissing her off as her body changed from being semi relaxed to rigid as hell as she opened her mouth. " i dont really do as im told " she said bluntly in a harsh tone looking staright at me most other wolves from my pack would of just apologised for being late but not Miya oh no she is a walking attitude problem with legs. Miya was the only wolf that wasnt weary of what she says or the way she looks at me even though im the alpha it was refreshing but so fustrating at the same time. i could feel te muscle in my cheeks clench as Blaze my wolf tried to push forward not likeing the way miya was so disobediant and rude. " well we'll have to do something about that wont we?" my tone of voice had become cold as blaze spoke through me. for a few moments i thought she had given it some thought and choose to remain quiet until her eyes gave her away she was busy arguing with her wolf. as i went to walk miya just blurted out "good luck with that"

as i stood there a bit dumbfounded and pissed off that she had the balls to talk to me like that. i was a typical but fair alpha but i had a feeling miya was really going to test my patients. "ATTENTION EVERYONE" i snapped in seconds everyones eyes were on us "as miya decided to sleep in instead of arriving on time there is no longer anyone for her to pair with" i bellowed to get everyones full attention. a small smile appeared on miyas face like she thought that ment i would let her off today and she couldnt be more wrong "so ill be her training partner"....
