The Goddess’s eye is glowing on top of Isaac and Mago, lighting their way on the stair that leads below. Each step they make is silent as possible, because they don’t know what might they see the moment they took another turn.
The pressure is building up, making both of them shed sweat. But they suddenly halt from their tracks and let out an audible gasped as they hear the faint clanging sound of metal.
Isaac raised his fist as he heard the noise, signaling the man behind him to stop. To which Mago dutifully obliged.
They stood there carefully listening to the sound echoing through the whole place. Isaac closed his eyes to focus on the ringing sound while Mago just stood behind him, looking at the older male on what he might do next.
