Isaac sighed in defeat after Zeth spoke. “That is really a good way to decline her, Zeth.” He said just barely above whisper, making sure that they did not hear what he said.
“But if you will not bring him now, he will just get in our way sooner.” Sol said calmly with a smile. As if this is all just a joke.
“Look here Sol, I truly respect you as a Captain but we can’t take Mago with us.” Zeth finally stood up and looked at Sol directly on her eyes and said those words as if he is the one who’s making the decision.
Zeth truly respects her in any way and supports her in her every decision she make, but if they bring Mago with them, they can’t guarantee his safety. “If we bring him, we can’t make sure that he is safe. Anything can happen in a mission and you know it.”
