“Don’t ever do that again! You’re giving me a heart attack!” The older man said to Mago.
“Oops, sorry.” Mago said apologetically.
After a while of conversation with Ladd they finally arrived at their hideout. Bringing the heavy sacks inside is another task he needs to fulfill.
On his way inside, the front door swung open revealing an excited Isaac.
“Ladd! My dear friend! Have you bought what I’ve asked you?”
“Dear friend my ass!” Ladd said annoyed but nonetheless answered. “I think I’ve bought something like that, just find it somewhere there.”
Mago smiled a bit at what he saw. Ladd may be cold towards Isaac and don’t want his experiments. But he surely supporting him anyway by buying things that he himself is getting trouble just to find it.
“You’re the best!” Isaac tackled Ladd
