*Adrian POV*
Frankie and a handful of wolves showed up battered and bruised. After getting them checked out, we held a meeting to discuss what had happened.
“I am so sorry Adrian. I tried to protect the Alpha’s with all my might, but the power held by those…things, it was too strong.”
“If you had protected the Alphas with all your might, you wouldn’t be alive and sitting here in front of me!”
Frankie cowered down before me.
“Their leader, he kept me alive to deliver a message. Bring him the Luna in exchange for her brother and our Alphas. If she is not delivered to him in six months’ time, he will kill everybody he has caged up before attacking our pack.”
“Everybody out! I need a moment alone with Frankie.”
The room cleared in a hurry leaving me all alone with a terrified Frankie.
