Back to School

*Micah POV*

We never made the hike. We couldn't keep our hands off each other the rest of the weekend. Eat, sleep, s*x, shower, more s*x, more food, rinse and repeat all weekend long. Monday came way too fast. I couldn't let my little bird walk to school. I have a feeling she wouldn't like me too much after that.

"You know, I think driving to school today was the best option for me. Just walking to the car hurts like a b***h! Are you going to carry me class to class?"

I couldn't help but laugh. I tried to warn her, but she is a stubborn thing. We pulled into the parking lot at school and immediately noticed all eyes were on my car. The pack knew something was up. 

Little Bird, are you sure you are ready for this? You are about to break a lot of hearts.

I'm fine. Let's get this over with.

I walked to the passenger side of the car and opened the door for Jayce offering her my hand to help her out. As soon as she stood up, I could hear the gasps. My love just smiled up at me before looking to the crowd and smiling for them. 

"Go. f*****g. Figure. I knew there was something between you too. Did you think the whole world was blind or just stupid?" 

"What do you want Sarah?" Jayce had turned around and was currently in a staring contest with Sarah.

"What you have. He's mine and I will make sure whatever this is ends soon. I will not stand by while some entitled b***h takes my man." 

Before I could react, Jayce had her hand around Sarah's throat pinning her against the wall behind her.

"Listen to me now and listen well because I will not be repeating myself. He does not belong to you or anybody else, only me. I know you see the marks; you aren't that blind. Threaten me or my mate again and you will face the consequences. Do you understand?"

"Yes Luna."

"Good. Now scamper along. Micah let's go home. School doesn't seem like such a good idea today. I'm feeling really, really hot."

I glanced over at the crowd to see the marked members trying their hardest to keep the unmarked males back.

"s**t. It's your heat. Get back in the car. NOW!" As soon as she was in the car, I ran to the driver side. A few unranked males broke through and made a run for my car trying to get to Jayce. 

"Stop now! I know it is not your fault and nature is pushing you to pursue her but as your Alpha, I command you to turn around and go back to class immediately!" A few males stopped in their tracks while one pushed forward. I let out a warning growl to try and deter him from continuing forward but he did not stop. 

Micah. My wolf is saying it's safe. Let him through. She's excited.

Excited like happy or excited like turned on?!
