I heard her right but I choose not to look at her. This thing inside my head keeps on saying I must do what I had to do as the successor but this damn heart kept on saying no.
"You're here for one reason, right? And that is to read the sacred writings, so let us go."
I walked away without even looking at her. How can I? My mind is just too messed up right now.
I led the way to the temple where the sacred writings were being kept. Just like what I expected, it's guarded. Good thing that my siblings are nowhere. I don't care where they are. I have one goal for going here, and that is to read the sacred writings with my own eyes.
I came here not to hide this time. I walked towards the guards with Seira behind me.
