Adrian’s POV I walked into the office angrily. The doors slid open. The greetings from staff faded into background noise, I didn’t respond, nor did I even look at them properly. My jaw was tight. I hated mornings like this. Actually, I hated days like this. I pressed the elevator button harder than necessary, watching the numbers climb. The silence inside the elevator was heavy, but it did nothing to settle me. If anything, it gave my thoughts more space to spiral. By the time the doors opened on my floor, I was already irritated beyond reason. Just then I saw my secretary who was standing near her desk, obviously she had been waiting for me. I noticed that her dress was tight, shorter than what the company dress code allowed. The neckline dipped low enough to make it uncomfortable
