TWENTY-SIX When Jo returned to the CP Room it was a hive of activity, the TV was still on and she thought they had probably all watched the briefing, but it did not have the rows of seats normally lined up. She knew Jack arranged the seating, not so he could monitor what was discussed with the press, but so he could watch Mandy on the telly. She noticed also Della had nicked Jack’s work station, such as it was. She had pushed his pile of chaos notes to one side and already had a computer set up and running.
