The cry of a child hadn't been heard since the Alpha of Moonlight Pack got married to his Luna. They'd been in dire need of a child for several years, praying to the moon goddess for a child to make them both happy and fill the hole this bareness was creating between the two couples but all prayers seemed to be futile.
The King and the Queen had tried every method, even engaging in fertility enhancers, running thorough tests and taking their health serious but nothing seemed to work. It was starting to create a rift between the King and Queen. The King was upset all the time, worried that he was going to die without having to father a child. Even at a point, he didn't care for a boy. All he wanted was a child he could hold to himself.
