I'd been in my chambers all afternoon, sipping out of my glass of wine. Soon enough, I gently placed the cup back on the window sill, knowing that it was time for me to see that pregnant woman again. I didn't even know why I was even bothering or thinking of going to see her. Well, she was my last relative and the only person who shared my blood that was alive. She was my sister and was married to the Beta of Moonshade Pack.
I didn't care though. I also didn't care enough about her. I knew the reason I was stressing over seeing her was to see how she was faring in another Pack and if she was coping.
