I didn't say anything as soon as he was done telling me what he had in mind. I stood up and left the room like a ghost, still not saying a single word to Jax. I mean, the whole thing was just too much for me at that point.
I couldn't believe that this was what he had been going through the whole time, and the behaviour he always put up when he was with me was just a way of preventing his inner being to act. But at the same time, I was hurt. Because who the hell would spill their guts about their undying feelings for someone and would still go ahead to casually drop the bombs that they were going to marry someone else? Jax apparently.
