I tightened my hand on the wound, asking her to take deep breaths so she could steady her emotions.
"Do you still feel dazed?" I asked, looking her in the eyes. She shook her head slowly, unable to utter a word. It seemed as if every ounce of strength had left her body, which wasn't surprising for somebody who got this kind of letter just after losing her family
"I will get to the root of this, don't cry please." I said, hoping that it would ease the pain that must have clogged her heart now. She was very emotional, so you could imagine what she was going through at this moment.
