JAX. Amelia finally fell asleep in my arms whilst I remained awake. She'd been tossing and turning all night and I had been laden with the brunt of her movements, holding her in place before she tipped and fell over to the other side of the bed, on the ground. My fingers sank into her hair and she finally fell asleep. I remained in that position, stroking her hair and staring at her sleeping form. She looked peaceful asleep and I didn't want to be the one to disrupt that. Sleep was far from me. I could barely sleep for long as I kept waking up occasionally and staying up awake for long periods.
