JAX’S POV.
"Get everything ready, reply and send them out at dawn." I commanded before turning towards the large structure of the Packhouse. Stefan nodded before disappearing down the alleyway alongside some guards.
I was intent on getting the last letters delivered to the Pack's that had sent them a few weeks ago. We couldn't keep them waiting any longer and I guessed it was time to get it all sorted out so I could work in my office with a clear mind.
The way just like another normal day. I walked past the towering trees by the garden. It was a very peaceful spot, and the way the dry leaves around it rustled in the wind gave me a calm feeling. But as soon as I got closer to the Packhouse, it began to feel as though I was supposed to expect something bad.
