Mira’s POV
“You may have merged with your shadow, Vessel, but I still control the Void!” The walls began to c***k. Darkness spilled from the cracks like a massive wave.
Cassian grabbed my arm. “We need to go—now!” But I stood firm, staring at the rising storm. “No. It’s time I end this.” And with that, I stepped into the darkness…toward the heart of the Void.
The darkness surrounded me as I went through the opening, its tendrils wrapped around my body like a suffocating cloak. The air was thick, suffocating, and filled with whispers that echoed in my thoughts. Each step forward seemed like slogging through mud, the entire structure of this world seemed to resist my existence.
I called the light inside me, the artifact's brightness growing, creating a protected aura about me.
