...Rachel broke the silence, changing the subject to lighter topics. "So, what's new with you? Any exciting plans or updates?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. I smiled, happy to shift the conversation to more positive territory. "Not much, just work and stuff. But it's great to have you back, Rach. I've missed you!" Rachel grinned, and we spent the next hour catching up on each other's lives, laughing and reminiscing about old times. As we chatted, I realized how much I had missed my friend's presence in my life...
"Hey, how about we go shopping and have some fun tomorrow?" Rachel suggested, her eyes shining with excitement. I smiled, feeling a rush of happiness. "Maybe? I mean, since we haven't hung out in two years, why not? I've always wished you'd come back so we could do stuff like that together," I replied, feeling nostalgic. Rachel grinned, and we started making plans for our shopping trip.
As we finalized our plans, Rachel asked, "So, are you coming alone tomorrow?" I chuckled and said, "You know my dad won't let me go anywhere without my bodyguard, Mike." Rachel nodded knowingly. "Yeah, I figured as much. I'll meet you guys at the mall then I have to go my driver is waiting outside it's now 10 ." OK see you tomorrow "We both laughed, and I texted Mike to let him know about our plans. With everything set, we looked forward to a fun-filled day of shopping and catching up...
