Chapter 14

After deciding to have a game in the hidden spot, we didn't end up playing because instead, we returned back to Lily's birthday party. The party was still going on with music, laughter, and people having a good time. When we walked back in, Rachel and Max were chatting with some guests. Ethan mingled with his friends for a bit, and I joined in catching up with my friends too.

The rest of the party went pretty smoothly. We had cake, played some party games, and everyone had a blast celebrating Lily's birthday.

After the party wrapped up, I said goodbye to Rachel, my mom, and also to the Thompson family, including Ethan. Everyone was smiling and seemed to have had a great time celebrating Lily's birthday.

Ethan smiled at me as he was leaving with his family, Mr. Thompson. "See you around," he said.

I smiled back and waved. "Yeah, see you."

After a long day, I went to my fancy room, took a shower, and got ready for bed. As I settled into bed, I saw a text from Ethan on my phone. He said, "Ehm, did you know that your dad said we're going to the US together for your modeling career? We'll be going in the next two weeks. You should get ready."

I texted back, "Okay, I'll be so excited! And also thank you for today lily is so exited about the gift

Ethan replied, "never mind she's also a Lil sis to me. It'll be great to go to US with you. See you tomorrow."

After that conversation, I drifted off to sleep, dreaming about the trip to the paris and modeling opportunities.
