Painful Kiss

Sudden change in his behavior made adhena panic. She was not sure what to say. She looked at him. He was staring deep into her eyes. She can't read his eyes it was completely blank but that stare , she felt as if he can see her soul.she looked down.

"I .. Wanted to discuss about... Proposal... "

He was not telling anything. She felt intimidated. She took a deep breath.

"About the proposal that you made to my dad. "

Still silence.May be he didn't understand.She cleared her thought.

"I mean the one which your assistant informed to my dad. "

Why he is not telling anything. She looked at him. he is still looking at her with no expression.

"Mr Adam , you got me. right? "

Finally he spoke.

"What proposal? "

How many proposals he made to my dad?He is asking as if he made many. She checked her watch. Oh god why time is going so fast. Let me blurt it out. She calmed herself. Tightened her grip on her bag and looked at him

"Mr Adam I don't know how many proposals you made. The one I am talking is about.... Our marriage. "

He smiled but didn't utter a word.There was silence for sometime.Then she spoke. He is not gonna say anything. She have no other choice other than tell what's in her mind. All the questions. She looked in to his eyes and spoke

"Why you wanna marry me? How much ever I think about it.I am not quite able to get the answer? You don't even know me? "

"We know each other. And I believe we were pretty close.If I remember correct you always wanted to be near me"

She looked down to hide the pain

"That was years back. Now everything...is different. I have changed... You have changed.We lost what we had.."

He was sure she is hiding many things but at the same time she seemed very honest.

"May be... Back then I always thought you were honest about your feelings towards me. Now you lost that too? "

"That.. " She thought That is something which she is not sure about. Seeing him still does something to her. But it is better to be away so that we both won't hurt each other anymore. So she said

"That was long back. I don't think it is there anymore. "

He was shocked by her reply. A sudden rage engulfed his body. He was not sure why? He got up and held her shoulders tightly.

His sudden movement caught her attention. She looked up. By that time he was hunching over her holding her tightly. It was paining.

"What did you say? " He asked her angrily

"Chris..It is paining..... Leave me.. . "

"Oh you remember my name. Let's see how much more you can remember. "

He pushed her to the sofa, then suddenly He was kissing her. His lips were warm and firm on her lips. He moved closer to her ,He was holding her head pulling it closer to him and His body was pressing her. His kiss become more deeper. Her breath caught in her throat. She was not able to think. She wanted push him but her hand stopped in mid air.she fisted her hands tightly and her nails were pressing onto her palm. His lips moved against her until they were not able to breath. He broke their kiss and she could hear the harsh rasp of his breath. She was also panting. They were staring into each other. His eyes were dark and intense. She felt like she was going deep in to it.

He can't believe what he did. He looked at her , Her eyes was shining, his eyes moved to her lips which was plump and reddened after their kiss. Her hair is a complete mess. Her cheeks were full of colour. Suddenly He spoke touching her face

"I don't think you completely lost it. "

His words brought her back to reality. She pushed him. He lost his balance. Meanwhile she moved him and left the couch. He straightened him and went near her

"You can't hide it.it's all over your face. Some memories are.. "

She slapped hard on his face and said

"How dare you? I trusted you that's why I came here but.. You.. "

"Trust? You don't have the right to talk about that. or anyone from your family has. How simply you said you think you don't have that love anymore?Just like your sister. Showing fake love and compassion."

She was shivering with anger and she shouted with all her

'Don't... You don't have the right to tell about my sister like that. "

"Oh..I think your love for your sister is also fake. You guys are living your life happily and she is a forgotten chapter right?I think No one in hunts family remembers her"

This was a pain she was always trying to hide. True , everyone has forgotten Anne. After grandpa's death no attempt was made to find her. And she also ignored Anne. She couldn't hold back anymore. Tears filled her eyes and started flowing through her cheeks. But still she replied
