Late Night Appointment

Peter cut the call and looked at Chris. Who was in deep thought.When Peter called adhena , Chris asked to put it in speaker and he was guiding Peter to say things. There was a smirk and smile on Chris's face. Then he asked

"What do you think?peter"

"I think she is not that eager in this proposal unlike her dad.And seemed quite reluctant to meet you alone , If it was some other girls.... "

'Or may be she is playing hard to get? "

"Hmm.. May be.. Why did you ask me to talk like that.? I mean..you usually tell to make the point and disconnect. "

"I can only say that I wanted to test something. "

"Ok Sir. " Peter smiled and thought , Searching for the old one just hope that you should be able to find her. She sounded quiet genuine unlike her father.

"What happened Peter? Weighing my decisions."

"No sir. I was just... "

"Don't you think it's too soon Peter"

"For what sir? "

"To trust her? "

"Yeah... It's too soon".Peter felt little guilty. He was becoming little soft towards her and chris caught that.

" Her sister seemed very innocent and genuine to us back then"

True, Anne was very innocent and shy. Everyone liked her. She was not even daring as adhena. She can't handle a small thing without tears. Peter thought and said

"True.I am sorry. "

"Don't be. Whatever she is? it is not gonna change my plans"

Chris eyes become sharp and determined.

Greens villa

Chris was sitting in the First floor watching through the window. He was waiting for her arrival. He checked his watch it was 8:45PM.He called Will.

"Sir ,Will here"

"Everything set?You have given instructions to the security"

"Yes sir"

"You should drop her to the Main villa.After that wait until Mrs Collin leave. "

"Ok sir"

He disconnected the call. And called for Mrs Collin.

"Sarah.Miss Adhena will be coming in few minutes. Do as I said.Will will take you home"

"Ok sir. "

Sarah has been the caretaker for greens villa for 8 years. When Mr Adam bought it, They thought they will have to search for another job and place .However Mr Adam asked them to continue.Mr Adam come often still he likes to stay alone in the villa and It is the first time he is inviting a girl and also asked them to act along. Even if Sarah was little confused about the situation, In this three years with Mr Adam she knows no one dares to question Mr Adam.So she quietly leaves.

Adhena POV

Adhena was little scared. She doesn't know why he asked her to come to the villa alone at this hour. She checked her bag and she tightly hold the pepper spray. Cab driver informed her that they have reached greens villa. After the cab driver left she turned and looked at the gate and took a deep breath. She looked at the watch.She has reached five minutes early. She walked towards the gate.

"Hello I had an appointment with Mr Adam. "

"Your name please? "

"Adhena, Adhena Hunts. "

By hearing her name security immediately opened the gate and they were calling someone. They took her to the waiting area. From there face and actions adhena came to know they were waiting for her arrival. Suddenly a man entered the waiting area. He was having very serious face and sharp eyes. He was very tall and broad. All other guards greeted him and left. He was of some importance.

"Hello miss adhena.Sorry Mr Adam has not arrived yet. "

"Oh sorry I was a little early. Is he on the way? I can wait"

"Actually he called and informed he will be little late. Some urgent matters. "

"Ok.. I can come some other time. Did he updated you about the new appointment or..... "

"No Ms Hunts.You can meet him today itself.He said to take you to the villa. He will be here in half an hour. "

"Oh... "

He will be late. It's already nine. It will be too late for her. What to do? Should I call Peter and change the appointment. What's the use the outcome will be the same you can only meet him today. Anyway I reached here now let's wait and see.

"Miss Adhena. Shall we move ?"

"Ok Mr??? "

"You can call me Will"

"Ok Mr Will. "

Greens villa

When Will informed Adhena's arrival, Chris become little enthusiastic. He has not met her in person for so long. Don't know what to expect. He waited eagerly at the window upstairs, Hiding himself so that she can't see him. He saw LSV stopping and Will getting down from it with Her.She was wearing jeans and a jacket. She still looks so precious.He immediately went to his surveillance room.

Adhena POV

Adhena was becoming more nervous. She has not seen a single smiling face and she was there late night, Even not sure when he will meet her. Will rang the bell and told about his arrival someone opened the door. She was relieved seeing a smiling face

Will informed "Mrs Collins this is Ms Hunts. "

Sarah smiled and invited her "Hello Miss hunts. Please come inside"

Even adhena smiled at her and went inside. Sarah closed the door. Adhena noticed that Will didn't come inside. Sarah took her to the living room. It was spacious room with modern decorations.Even if adhena was born rich It's been long she has seen such spacious villas other than TV. Only place she see such comfort is her house and Jen's apartment. While she was looking around Sarah brought her refreshments.

"Please sit Miss hunts"

"Thank you Mrs collin.My name is adhena"

"I know Miss hunts. Please have this"

She gave some juice to adhena. Adhena took it however she didn't drink it,

"I mean you can call me adhena"

"No miss hunts. That won't be appropriate"

There is nothing to argue about its Chris's people. They will stick to this, so she didn't argue.

"Ok.Did Mr Adam tell when he will be arriving? "

"No miss. He just told he has something urgent to handle"

"He will be arriving soon right? "

"He will be coming soon. If you want to freshen up washroom is there and anything else kitchen is there. Please help yourself."

Adhena become confused. Why is she saying all these, anyway she will be here. Right?

"Oh that's ok. Anything I will ask you. "

"Oh miss hunts I will be leaving now. I stay in the outhouse. It's near only. "

Adhena panicked

"What? You will be leaving? Oh no. I can't stay here alone I will wait in waiting room outside. Please take me there. "

"Oh no Miss. He won't like that. Mr Adam told you to wait here. It won't be good for us if you wait outside. "

"So can you stay until he comes? "

"No Miss. There are some rules here. I should not stay here. I'm sorry. But don't worry you can stay here comfortably. It is fully safe. There are securities outside and outhouse is near don't worry. "

All his staffs are same. No use of arguing. He rules the city and same applies to his home. Adhena didn't said anything. With a smile Sarah left. Adhena become all alone. She sat and waited.
