"How was it?" Javier asked as Cecilia walked into her room. "It went well. Turns out he also has a girlfriend," she replied, kicking off her shoes. "That's a relief," he sighed. "We both have a plan," she said. "What plan?" he asked. "We're going to ruin the marriage plans. We'll pretend we love each other and want to get married," she explained. "And?" he pressed. "When the time comes, we'll both run away with the ones we truly love," she finished. "That's a good plan," he said. "I'm going to take a shower now," she added with a smile before disappearing into the bathroom. --- "You mean she has a boyfriend?" Athena asked, wanting to confirm what Stanley had just told her. "Yes, she does," he replied. "Well, that's good. If she was actually serious about this marriage, I was ready to make her life miserable. Now, you're mine alone," she said confidently. "But our parents still want us to get married, so we have a plan. We’ll pretend we want this marriage," Stanley explained. "Count me in," Athena said without hesitation. Reagan danced wildly to the music blasting from the speakers, swaying without a care. She was with Cecilia. "Reagan, that's enough," Cecilia said, grabbing her arm and trying to pull her away from the dance floor. "Let me dance some more!" Reagan protested, obviously drunk. "You’ve had enough. Come sit," Cecilia insisted. "I'm just getting started!" Reagan shouted before stumbling back to the dance floor. Cecilia sighed and turned to head back to their table, only to bump into Kenneth. "Hey, it's you," Kenneth said. "Hi," she replied. "I didn't know you came to places like this," he remarked. "I am not having much fun. I'm just here because of my friend," she said, nodding toward Reagan, who was still dancing. "She is a wild dancer… and kind of cute," Kenneth commented, watching her. "Piece of advice—don’t call her cute when she’s around. She hates it," Cecilia warned. Before Kenneth could respond, a loud shout interrupted them. "You jerk! How dare you?!" Reagan’s voice rang out. They turned just in time to see her punch a guy in the face. He had touched her chest. "You pervert!" she yelled, landing a sharp kick to his side. The guy groaned in pain. "Reagan, that’s enough!" Cecilia rushed to her. "No, Ceci, I need to teach this pervert a lesson!" Reagan snapped, kicking him again. "That’s enough, miss," Kenneth stepped in. "None of your business," she shot back before turning to Cecilia. "Meet me in the car." Cecilia sighed. "I have to go," she told Kenneth before hurrying after Reagan, who was staggering as she stormed out. ***** "So, what are you going to do now?" Cody asked. He and Javier were on a video call. "I don't know. I guess I just have to wait for her stupid plan," Javier replied. Suddenly, he heard Cecilia's voice "Javier, please help!" Cecilia's voice rang out. Javier immediately ended the call and rushed out. "Cecilia?" he called, stepping outside. His eyes landed on her struggling to hold up Reagan, who was completely wasted. "She's heavy. Help me," Cecilia pleaded. Javier moved to assist, but before he could touch Reagan, she groggily swatted at him. "Don't you dare touch me, you jerk!" she slurred. "Reagan, shut it," Cecilia scolded before turning back to Javier. "Ignore her and just help me put her on the bed." "I'm only doing this for you," Javier muttered as he reached for Reagan—only for her to suddenly throw up all over him before collapsing onto Cecilia. Javier froze, his face twisting in horror. "What the hell?! Are you insane?" he shouted before sprinting to the bathroom. "I am so sorry" Cecilia said when he came out of the bathroom trying not to laugh "I know she did this on purpose" he huffed "Javier she is drunk" Cecilia said defending her "Quit it, I Reagan so well and I will get her for this."I'm out of here," he huffed, storming off. Cecilia sighed, glancing at Reagan, who was now safely sprawled on the bed. ***** "So, how was your date?" Kenneth asked. "It was nice. Turns out she already has a boyfriend," Stanley replied casually. "That's good, but remember—your father still wants you to marry her," Kenneth reminded him. Stanley sighed. "I know. Her father wants the same thing, even though she’s already with someone. But we have a plan." "What plan?" Kenneth asked. "We’re going to pretend we’re okay with the engagement so my dad won’t push me to break up with Athena," Stanley explained. Kenneth raised a brow. "So, you're really serious about this Athena girl?" "Yes, I am. But enough about that." Stanley waved him off before smirking. "You went to the club without me last night?" "You were busy with Athena, so I just went to clear my head," Kenneth shrugged. "Then I saw this lady… She's pretty cute." Stanley’s eyes narrowed in amusement. "This is the first time I’ve ever heard you talk about a girl like this—especially with a smile." Kenneth rolled his eyes. "It's nothing. I just found her pretty. That’s all. Stop overthinking." "You sound defensive," Stanley teased. "And what exactly do you think I’m thinking? You must be hiding something. Tell me the truth—you like her, don’t you?" "Stop it, Stanley. I told you, I just admired her," Kenneth denied. Stanley leaned in with a smirk. "But your face says otherwise. It lights up when you talk about her." Kenneth exhaled sharply and stood up. "I’m going home." Stanley grinned as Kenneth walked off. "Introduce her to me!" he called after him. ***** Reagan woke up with a groan, but when she remembered what she had done to Javier, she smiled—she had actually done it on purpose. "Someone is awake," she heard Cecilia's voice. "I need some hangover soup. My head is aching so bad," Reagan said. "Well, I’m not your maid. I should have prepared it, but I want to punish you for what you did to my boyfriend," Cecilia scoffed. "I am not sorry," Reagan said. "I know you’re not. You did that on purpose," Cecilia smirked. "Where are you going dressed like this?" Reagan asked, eyeing her outfit. "Going to meet my in-laws," Cecilia replied. "Javier's family is here in Greece?" Reagan asked. "No, not Javier, but Stanley's parents," Cecilia said. "Oh, okay," Reagan groaned in pain. "I lied about not preparing the hangover soup. Here," Cecilia said, handing her a plate she took from the table beside the bed. "Make sure you rest properly. Bye, see you later," Cecilia said and walked out. "She is such a good girl," Reagan said with a smile and began eating the soup.
