Meeting The In_Laws 2

The Chavezs got down from their car, and Cecilia could not believe how beautiful the Fernandez house was. Though her father's house was beautiful, this was even more stunning. The exterior design was lovely, and she was sure the interior would be even more breathtaking. "Let's go in," Mr. Chavez said, and they all walked inside. "Welcome, sir, ma'am, miss," a maid greeted them warmly. "Thank you," Cecilia smiled. "Welcome, my friend," Mr. Fernandez called from the stairs as he descended. "Please have a seat," the maid said, gesturing toward a chair. Stanley followed behind his father, greeting them before sitting beside Cecilia. "Now, since we all know why we are here, there's no need to go around in circles. You two are getting engaged tomorrow," Mr. Fernandez announced. "What? That's impossible! We haven’t even gotten to know each other well," Cecilia protested, and Stanley nodded in agreement. "That's why you will live together," Mr. Fernandez stated. "What do you mean, Mom?" Stanley asked. "I have decided to give you one of my mansions so you two can live together and get to know each other before your wedding," Mr. Fernandez replied. "This can't be possible, Dad," Stanley objected. "Choose one. Either you get engaged tomorrow and live together, or you get married next week," Mr. Fernandez said firmly. "Dad!" Cecilia called out in shock. "Our decision is final. Get engaged tomorrow or get married next week without getting to know each other," Mr. Fernandez declared. Cecilia and Stanley stared at each other, speechless. ***** "Don't tell me you agreed to live with him," Javier asked after Cecilia told him what happened. "Yes, I did. I had no choice," she replied. "Yes, you did! You should have told them you have a boyfriend!" Javier shouted. "Like that would do any good. No matter what I say, my dad won't agree. He knows about you, but he still wants me to marry Stanley. So what should I do? I had no choice, Javier, and I am sorry. We had two options—get engaged and live together or get married next week. I had to choose engagement and living together," Cecilia said in frustration. "Then what about me? What will you do to me? Break up with me?" he asked. "You’re only thinking about yourself! Do you think you're the only one hurting? I am hurting too!" she shouted. "I'm sorry, Cecilia. I just can't bear it. I can't bear the thought of you living with another guy. Anything can happen," he said. "Trust me, I will love you forever," she said and held his hands. "I trust you, Cecilia, but I don't trust that guy. Two people of the opposite gender living together… something will surely happen, and I don't know what," he said. "Stanley is a good guy, and nothing will ever happen between us. In fact, I will be with you all the time, or you with me. So please, let's just do this," she said before hugging him. ***** "So you agreed to live with her?" Athena asked Stanley. "I had no choice but to agree. I don’t want to marry her next week. Even if I did want to get married next week, it should be with you," Stanley said. "Don't you dare get close to her. Remember, you are mine and mine alone," she said with so much authority. "I wouldn't dare," he said, kissing her. ***** After the engagement, Stanley and Cecilia drove to their apartment in silence. No one said a word to each other. The car came to a halt when they arrived. "So this is it," Cecilia said, stepping out of the car. "Yes, this is it," Stanley replied with a shrug. "Let's go in," she said. "Yes, let's go in," he said and opened the door for her. "Ladies first." "Thank you." She smiled and entered. He followed her inside. Immediately, a message notification popped up on both their phones. "Enjoy your stay. There is only one room with one bed, which is big enough to accommodate you two." "No!" they both shouted. "What should we do now?" she asked. "Let's go see how big the room is before we decide what to do," Stanley said. "Yes, we should. Race you to the room!" Cecilia said before rushing ahead. Stanley smiled, watching her. ***** "So, what are you going to do now?" Cody asked Javier. Cody is in Greece. "I don't know... I really don't know," Javier replied. "You need to figure something out. She and that guy can't get married unless you want your plans to be ruined," Cody warned. Javier smirked. "Then I have to get rid of Stanley Fernandez." ***** Stanley and Cecilia stood near the bed, staring at each other, both contemplating how they would sleep. "You can have the bed," Stanley said, grabbing a pillow. "Where are you going to sleep?" Cecilia asked. "In the sitting room," he replied. "Will you be comfortable there? It's always cold at night," she asked, concern evident in her voice. "I'll be fine," he assured her with a small smile before walking out. "Good night!" she called after him, even though he probably couldn’t hear her anymore. Her phone beeped—a message from Reagan. She quickly replied before setting the phone down and drifting off to sleep. ***** "I'm missing you, babe," Athena said to Stanley over a video call. "Miss you more," he replied. "So, I’ll be seeing less of you now? This is torture," she muttered. "You can come visit me," Stanley suggested. "I hope she won’t mind," Athena said, referring to Cecilia. "Trust me, Cecilia is a cool person," Stanley assured her. "So, I can visit anytime I want?" she asked. "Yes, but let me know in advance in case my father is around," he replied. "Okay, I will," she said with a yawn. "You should sleep now. Good night," he told her. "Wait… I hope the two of you aren’t sleeping in the same room?" she asked suspiciously. "No, we’re not. I’m in the sitting room, and she’s in the bedroom," he clarified. "That’s better. Good night. I love you," she said with a smile. "I love you too," he replied, blowing kisses at her before she ended the call. Athena turned away from the screen. "Baby, it’s time," she called out. A man emerged from the shadows, walking toward her. He kissed her all over, his touch hungry. "I got jealous hearing you tell him you love him," he murmured. She smirked, running her fingers through his hair. "Don’t be jealous. I love you and only you," she whispered before kissing him deeply. "I love you more," he growled. "And this time, you’re all mine. I want to take you now." "Take me," she breathed, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I’m all yours."
