The Day I Lost Everything

*Rain drops echoing* *muffled cries * SELENE'S POV "It's raining...I can't feel anything... Wait, where am I again? Oh... Right." I said as I was contemplating "Selene! Hey! What are you doing here?! Come along! It's time to say goodbye to your parents" I looked at the direction where my aunt was and then smiled "I said goodbye a long time ago" and stood up Her face displayed distaste as I said those lines. Every one is the same, all of them... Including my relatives. "I can't look at them auntie, nor can I look at their gravestones. A daughter like me doesn't deserve to look at her parents" Tears started streaming down from my eyes and I was sobbing like crazy. My aunt just stayed quiet and decided to hug and comfort me "Dear... It's not your fault. That's just how life works", but I wasn't convinced. "Then how does life work then?! Why? What did I do to deserve this?! Why are you all looking at me with contempt like I caused all of THIS?!" Next thing I knew... All of them are staring at me again with those judging eyes I just stood there and said nothing, but my tears were like waterfalls... Accepting all of their contempt. Just wait and see... Soon enough, You would see a new me. At the mere age of 16, I lost my parents... I lost everything
