There was a rush to not miss class, cause she was not too keen on him missing class back when they're fire burnt bright, and he made it, only to fund his pen absent from his inventory after taking an unusual front row seat from his usual back seat student position. He had to rush out for the pen and that was the push he need to get locked outside by the teacher who arrived minutes after his departure.
First class was over before without him in it and that was not an idea she liked much. She was mad, he could tell and he could tell, s0 he reached to apologize before she could grind him.
“try not to miss anything this time” she said and moved with the crowd to the next class. She watched him take another front row seat and he knew she
On their way out of the class, he breached her with yet again another apology pack and she was set to blow like a bomb this time and stopped him in his track with her palms flying in the air, “i'm not cut for a lot this time around” she said, “and trust me, i'm most definitely not gonna be around you when those guys start generating issues”, “so back the f**k up from me if you gonna keep rolling with that crowd”.
Folks acted like they wear deaf and walked by but he could see their eyes prying for information. “okay” he responded in calm so her fumes don’t escalate, “ill work on it”, he tried to assure her, “you do that nigga”, she concur ed strongly and walked out high and proud with the g**g and most giving her their attention. He sighed and looked to the niggas smiling at his demise and wondered what he was doing with a lot of miscreant lot.
“you coming?” one of the guys called him, “yeah”he quietly replied, “I need to start walking with you niggas less” he complained to them, and that picked their laughing spirit and prompted a question from one, “cause of your girl?”, “yeah!” he grumbled hard, “and cause yall start up trouble too damn much”, and that made them laugh more, “walk with us or nah, troubles not gonna forget you”, another one said in his laugh, as they walked out of school.
“wheres you staying then?” the girl he was sharing a night walk with asked, "around the corner from here” he said, “nigga that ain't no certified address”, she raised her voice happily, and he laughed along with her, “even if I give the best description in my head, I feels like you is gon get lost on your next visit, so bout you let me just walk you there” he kept going, “okay nigga” she agreed, “but your a*s cocky for thinking there's a next time”, she said on her happy track still, “what?”, he exclaimed playfully, “you saying this a one night stand” he teased her, and she jested back “nah nigga you just cocky”, “this but a visit, and i'mma go home” she said,”why you gon go home?” he asked, “nigga, i'm starving, and i'm thinking you ain't got no dinner plans”.
They continued through the bent curve into familiar faces raising their head to head to him as they walked by, “why you gon play a nigga like that?” he asked like he was taking offense, but she laughed on and asked, “play a nigga! How so?”
“saying I ain't got no dinner plans” he moped, “so whats dinner like then” she asked, “what you craving for?” he asked,”Excluding me” he added, she paused to take the hint to his s****l taunt, and continued as he laughed at her reaction.
She stretched her fingers to drag his attention to a stall, “I want fries and meat” she said, “and most definitely not your meat”, she added to make him laugh. “okay” he responded and reached for her hands as they walked to her request. Her hands were wrapped around his as he made his order to the woman by the stall, “hol up” he said leading her a pace from him, and took off his jacket, “here you go”, he offered It up, “what a gentleman” the women attending to them said as she poured the hot stew to the steaming fries.
The jacket started making a noise on their walking dinner, she reached for the pocket to pull out his phone. Her face wasn’t too pleased at the caller as she handed the phone over, he could see her take a different facial path but took the call still, “hello!” he gave the caller, and “okay” he said to end the call between seconds, “this the part where you run off to another right?” she questioned him, but he reached for a defensive card, “yeah!, bur its not like that”, “it never is” she said taking the jacket off, “until it is”, she waved her hands for a ride and kissed his cheek, “told you not tonight right?” she said as she bordered the vehicle, “ill call you” he insisted, “alright nigga” she dis pleasingly accepted on her leave.
The uniformed security by the gate assumed banjo was up to no good due to his jet paced and elephant stomps he was giving the school ground, so this overly paid staff rushed to halt the young mans foot-walk for some interrogation.
“you either running to or from something, my mum used to say”, the guard opened with that after stepping in the young mans path, “so! Care to fill me in on where the fires at?” he asked the already fed up banjo with grumble not hiding on his face.
“tsk”,banjo responded, “there's like a lot of folks walking this path”, he pointed out, “why you pick me to bother.the guard laughed but his anger was noticed when he signaled a colleague to join the fray and that made banjo give out more displeased tiks, “look, I got a girl I gotta meet, and my heads gonna roll if i'm late”, “so please! Can you scoot and don’t be the nigga to f**k this up for me?”, the guard saw power burning out of the youth and smile to the side, “ease up on the force, so she don’t run off” the guard said taking his lost companion with him.
Out from the shadow she walked, majestically he thought she looked at every step, he smiled at her wing woman fighting to catch the pace of this beautiful not vertically challenged woman, he reached for his watch to get the time update.
“keep looking at your watch for me nigga”, she dished out first
“whys you gotta be like that all the time?” he grumbled back, “bedsides, i'm just wondering why yall coming from classes round this time”, “you'd know if your a*s didn’t miss the first class!!!!” She dished again, “now you bugging” he put on a straight jacket but serious look, “you saw me get there early to the front seat< and you saw how that nigga got in behind my back and shut the door” he threw back at her in a light hard tone, “so whys you making it look like I skipped on purpose?”
“okay that's enough!!” her sidekick ordered both of them, and just like that, they started over
“why'd you call me over?”
“some of my stuffs missing’ she said calmly.
“I ain't got none your stuff with me no more, That’s everything” he said back
“well not everything”, she insisted on a stronger tone. Which made her partner gave her a look. He noticed the change of tone and went down on his still, he let out a lot of air and asked, “whats missing?”, “some of my documents ain't here” she didn’t hesitate to reply, “just that?” his hands waved with the question, “just that” she answered and he took off immediately like an angry jet.
“how’d it go?” the guard by the gate asked as he saw the youth stomp out but didn’t fail to reply the man with a displeasing bubble head to signal his loss in the war.
The area noticed his vibe wasn’t as he was when he left, but none bothered to ask cause they know an answer isn't impending. He walked to his guys and was taken to the side by one of them who cared enough to want to tackle this feeling with him, “ where d you go” Kel asked as they side bar away from the g**g, “to a moment with my ex, she called me over” he almost hid his sadness, the other guy laughed at him and asked, “she wants you back?” he asked, “nah!!” banjo reply gave off a lot of sad vibes and his kel apparently took a hit from that and turned his laugh down, “you gotta place an embargo on that shid!” he advised, “what?” banjo replied a bit lost< “LEt it go!”,he said again and banjo sighed to that, “I know!”, “you ain't gotta tell me that” he said again and stopped them in track, “should we go bak or keep moving” banjo he asked his homie, “we keep moving forward” was his friends response, “lets hit up pandas block, heard hes got goodies”, he said to banjo excitedly, “I bet!” banjo said folding his moth in a jested disbelief.
was watching, because he had an aim and was hellbent on making the right choices, he thought.
The next teach sure took the time to arrive, but before he did come in, some set of cool looking outfitted men walked in, they didn’t miss him by the front seat and gave up their hands for an handshake that was quite different from normal. The crowd and her eyes didn’t miss the interaction but nobody but her and him felt the impact of that handshake, “f**k!” he whispered as he caught her displeased gaze pretending not to be in his line
