The Escape

Isabel was being held in a room , as two knights guarded the doors , she kept pacing forth and back waiting for any news about her friend. She couldn’t touch the foods the servants brought her because she couldn’t trust her captors intentions, they could be drugged or worse poisoned. Later the door was opened, Gianna entered with three maids in tow .

They were holding clothes and other stuff that Isabel couldn’t make out.

“ My brother requested your presence and you better be quick for that dog’s fate “ Gianna left the room so fast as if fire was hot on her heels. Isabel was quickly bathed and clothed in emerald green gown to match her eyes and her auburn hair was styled atop her head in a delicate way that enhanced her beauty, with rosy full lips and diamond shaped face made her look ethereal and serene but her thick fringed eyelashes made her looked provocative like the goddess .

She was escorted by the guards to the dining room to have supper with the Lord of Salmine , As she approached the table she saw Luca sitting at the head without Gianna in sight , she sat opposite from him and was immediately served by the servants. She still hasn’t touched her food and felt his eyes on her but she refused to meet his eyes .

“ Eat before it grows cold “

Isabel looked him in the eyes with defiance,

“How can I eat whilst my friend rots in your cell?” He stood up and took long strides and pulled Isabel forcefully from her seat and started to walk out . The passed several corridors until they reached the infirmary , they stopped at a bed were she saw kelvin awake with fresh clothes and stitched . She couldn’t hide her relief as she run in to him and hugged him until he coughed, she finally released him as she smiled back to Luca muttering thank you.

…………….somewhere in the castle Alastair hid in the shadows waiting for an opportune moment to help the princess escape , after spending some time with kelvin she took a stroll in the garden with Luca accompanying her , he was surprisingly kind and a gentleman , they garden was beautifully decorated with ornamental flowers with seductive fragrance filling the air . The moon was high and very bright that made her think of her parents and brothers , afterwards Luca escorted her to her chamber and bid her a peaceful night.

She was alone fantasizing her about Luca when Alastair appeared out of turn her , she was frightened and nearly screamed bloody murder but remained calm alas to alert the security. He created a magical portal she stepped through it and realize they are at the infirmary, she woke Kelvin up and placed her finger on her lips motioning him to be quiet. Alastair made another portal and they stopped through it .
