"Tell me what you want and I'll go get it, ma'am," John said, stunning Skylar.
He wants to go get it for her? No? There's no way that will because if it does, then she won't be able to buy the contraceptives.
"No, you can't," Skylar refused abruptly.
"Please ma'am, let me." John pleaded.
He couldn't let his boss's wife run her errands while he was right there doing nothing. And most especially when she is in so much pain. He knew how much trouble he'd get into if Louis finds out.
"No John, the things I want only I will know and I can only know it when I'm there." Skylar patted his shoulder. "You know, product varies and I wouldn't want one that give me an infection, you understand?"
John nodded in understanding. "I do, ma'am, but I can't let you go by yourself when..."
