Both bodies froze at the sound of the shatter and with a shallow gulp, they both whip their gazes to the source. Their stares follow along the maple stained floor, rising they see bits of velvet crumbs and shards of white scattered across as small shards reflect the light, as Davia mumbles under her breath. "Shit..." Their hearts pound harder as their joined gazes ascend.
