Grey clouds hang over the sky as a chilling breeze blows amongst the pine branches making them shiver and shake their leaves off as they slowly sway away above the dark concrete. They crunch under Alec's feet as he walks to school with his bag slung over his shoulder, he steps down the halls with only a few students looking up and backing away from him as he shakes his head and fixes the worn strap of his bag.
The sound of soft sobs sneaks into his ears as he turns to a corner set of lockers to a small blonde hanging her head as she grabs her books, Alec slowly walked closer stopping a small distance beside her.
"Hey what's the matter?"
She flinches and looked back at him scared with makeup running down her face as she shakes.
"N...nothing I'm fine."
