“Come here.”
The words left my mouth before I could stop them. It wasn’t a command… not really. More like a curse I whispered to the memory of her. Evelyn. Her name was branded into the back of my mind and I had no idea when that happened. Even now, images of that night flashed with a vengeance. With that fire in her eyes and hair as red as ember. But something different had happened. Maybe it was the way she finally submitted with her hair tied, maybe it was the way her skin felt on me or maybe it was the fact that I was the first to have her.
Whatever it was, it had been haunting my dreams, every time I closed my eyes that was all I could see.
She was trouble. I knew it the moment I laid eyes on her.
