“Something wrong,” I said grabbing Everette’s arm. Kinsley grew more and more pale as the seconds past. Her skin was changing colour - it was a sickly yellow. “Something wrong.” My chest tightened. “Don’t let her die.” A growl erupted through me. Everette nodded but did nothing. “I don’t know how to help her.” He motioned toward Kinsley laying in my bed. She hadn’t spoken in an hour. “We have to figure something out.” I slid my hand in hers and kneeled by the bed. “Clove might know.” Her skin was growing colder. “The weird vampire?” He asked and I nodded. “We have to take her to him,” I said before sliding my arms underneath her.
