Everette moved toward my door and slowly stepped out into the hallway. “Where are they?” Yvaine demanded before it sounded like a punch landed. Zander groaned but remained silent. “Where is the coven?” She growled. Zander didn’t know about the vampires. I only told him about the werewolves because I didn’t have a choice. “Maybe he doesn’t know,” Bartholomew said quietly. “He will tell us eventually.” Yvaine’s tone was icy, her deep voice made it sound like she was prepared to kill him for information he didn’t possess.
