I expected something instant to happen. Kinsley bit him and I anticipated his to sit up, to talk and be back to normal, but that didn’t happen. Nothing happened. Could we have been too late, even for a vampire? Kinsley told us to have patience. Vampire venom takes time to spread and change the body. I leaned back in the seat and sighed. It had been about a half hour already. Mum hadn’t come back yet. The bite marks are visible from the couch. They were small though and almost invisible to an untrained eye.
