Midday turned into the afternoon, the afternoon turned into the evening and the evening turned into night. We had been on the road for what felt like ages, only making two pit stops along the way. Then finally at around about 20:30 PM, the car finally came to a stop. Angelo parked the car across the road from a building that looked like a fancy motel with a fancy restaurant right next to it.
Romeo climbed out of the passenger seat, came round to the back of the car and opened the back door.
“Let’s go. We’re here.” He said sternly. I turned my head to the right and saw that both Roy and April were sound asleep, leaning on each other. On the other hand, Terrance was fast asleep in my arms, sucking on his thumb. My heart just melted at how adorable they all looked while sleeping.
