I stared at the woman in front of me and was taken aback she was the kind that turns the male head in the street into a real knockout.

"Please come in and close the door behind you," I asked

I was trying to get my composure back due to the shock I just had. But one glimpse of him and I became jelly inside, what is it about him that keeps making my head spin in a different phase?

Reminiscing

I had always had this crazy weakness for him since the beginning. His cousin had always been too pretty and a womanizer to be precise even at a tender age and she had never looked at him in that kind of way.

"Castillo asked me to handle this while he traveled " I finally spoke trying to stop myself from touching her. I had never wanted so badly to touch a woman's hair which took me by surprise and made me begin striding down the room. The dull throb of awakening desire at my groin made me try to get myself composed since adulthood I had always been able to control my body and since childhood emotions.

I couldn't believe the tomboy I knew then has finally grown into a woman.

" I am not ready to get married and settled down and I am also working on something to keep my mother grounded for a while, So for now all I could arrive at is having to appear with a partner to the ball in whom I'm seriously involved with and I want you to be that partner."

"Why, when you a groomed and suitably gowned, refined you could". my focus was elsewhere all I could think of was her lower lip looking so inviting "You just have to work hard before the ball and act like the sort of woman I could bring to the ball "

"Impossible it's not about the fancy dress or makeup or whatsoever ".

"Well, for now, it is possible given that we have some weeks to prepare, I know you could easily do it " I declared. "Whether you fail or successfully hack the plan doesn't matter regardless I'll be paying you a huge sum".

"Why me, you can ask a friend or instead hire someone to do it," I said in a rush . "why someone like me ".

"I could hire anyone Yes but I don't want it to end in a mess and someone told me I couldn't pass an ordinary woman into a socialite," I said truthfully. "You fit the bill and since we both want a lasting solution so it's better than being indebted to someone when I can foot the bill".

"You're doing all this because of a bet isn't this absurd "I questioned

"well it seems absurd to you but it doesn't concern you, "I said sounding arrogant

"I guess not " not wanting to argue but challenged by the intensity in his gaze.

Suddenly, trying to deal with the flood of s****l awakening made me weak yet excited and spread a more sensitive place. I felt my n****e pinch right through my tee shirt and the small swell of my breast moved with shaken breath trying to stop the immersive torture it brings. But my body's reaction to him had never been something I could slowly control and the heat it brought between my thighs made me feel uncomfortable and foolish at the same time.

A bet I thought fighting it hard to stop myself from thinking about my physical contact with him.

"You're betting on something that can't be predicted and might make a loss," I said.

"That's my problem to think of not yours, "I said without hesitation "You need to think of how it will benefit you, to settle your rent and pay for your father's hospital bill and surgery. I don't know what I could offer to the employees I know I'll provide help. The decision is yours to make, I'll give you 48 hours to respond to it "

"How do I know that if I finally agree to it you will keep your promise "? I asked ."I have limited people I trust"

"We don't need a legal agreement for this " You could just pay for the hospital bill," I said stressed.

"So from next month, you have to be by my side till the month's end "

"Well it's all been sorted out from your side, you'll move in here as soon as possible ".

"How can we achieve it if you're not available? And if we have to pretend to be lovers we have to be comfortable around each other " I pointed out.

"I can't move in with you, what will I have to tell my mom and siblings ".

"It's up to you you either tell them you got a job or you're having an affair with me whatever suit you ."

"I have two part-time jobs which I'll be leaving so and will be unavailable for some months too".

"Unavailable, what do you mean for some month?".

"It's something personal I don't want to talk about ". I said without sounding rude."I'll say you offered me a job.

"I'll say I was helping you with some paperwork and documenting it for you ".

"I don't understand," I said looking confused.

"I was just a few months in completing my education and I was into accounting before my dad's illness and I had to drop out".

"I have to stop the meeting soon and go to the hospital "

"Hospital? "I asked concerned

"I have to meet by 2, so we can talk about this later," I said watching her closely.

I remembered I also had an appointment by 2 coincidentally.

"Okay"

I had to rush since I was already late, it was past 2 o'clock. getting into the hospital I was directed by a young doctor.

I was here to see the father of the child I'll be carrying and sign a confidential document.

"Hi, Doctor so sorry I'm late," I said.

The voice sounds so familiar and looking up to see the shock of my life for the second time today.
