Episode 4: Amara barely slept that night. Bianca's message kept replying inside her head. "You really think you won?" Won what exactly? She wasn't fighting anybody. At least.... she didn't think she was. Still, something about Xavier's behaviour had started feeling strange. The late replies, The hidden details, the way his mood changed anytime Bianca was mentioned. Yet whenever Amara tried pulling away emotionally, Xavier somehow pulled her back in. The next Saturday morning, he called unexpectedly. "Get dressed," he said. Amara frowned. "for what?" "I'm outside your area." Her eyes widened immediately. "What?!" "I came to see you" Amara rushed to her small mirror in panic. "my hair is not even fixed" Xavier laughed softly through the phone. "you looked beautiful crying on live. I think you'll survive this" "i***t" Twenty minutes later, Amara stepped into Xavier's black SUV nervously. And for one second.... She forgot every warning sign. He looked unreal in person. "Hi" he said softly. Amara suddenly forgot how to breathe properly. The drive felt strangely comfortable They talked, laughed, argued over music At one point Xavier looked at her briefly and smiled to himself. "What?" Amara asked suspiciously "Nothing" "No tell me" "You're Prettier offline" Amara turned towards the window immediately to hide her smile. Butterflies filled her stomach embarrassingly fast. Later, Xavier took her to a quiet restaurant far from the main road. Nothing too flashy. just peaceful. For the first time in months Amara genuinely relaxed. Nobody shouted at her. Nobody stressing her Nobody making her feel like she wasn't enough. Just soft music and Xavier staring at her like she mattered. "What's your biggest dream?" he asked suddenly. Amara looked down at her drink. "I want to study nursing" "You will" She laughed softly. "You sound too confident" "I'm serious" Something about the certainty in his voice made her chest tighten emotionally. Nobody had believed in her dreams so confidently before. As they walked back to the car later that evening, Xavier held her hand like it belonged to him, Amara's heart nearly betrayed her completely. Then his phone rang Bianca calling The atmosphere changed instantly Xavier Ignored it. The phone rang again and again Amara slowly withdrew her hand "You should answer her" "It's not important" "But she clearly....."
