“Why are you staring at me like that?” Liam asked when he noticed Alina hadn’t taken her eyes off him since he picked up the book.
Alina blinked and quickly lowered her gaze to the book in his hands. She was genuinely shocked. Out of all the books on the shelf, every single one, this was the one he chose. Knowing how naughty Liam could be, she had fully expected him to grab something naught. But instead, he picked Seven Days Before Goodbye.
“I… I wasn’t expecting you to pick this book,” Alina said softly. “It’s my favorite.”
