ELARA'S POV
Beros had already turned to face whatever was growling at us. I slowly dropped my meat and turned to face it slowly. From my experience with wolves, any sudden movements would make them attack.
My heart beat wildly in my chest, it was either a wolf from Dark Light Pack that followed us this far, or a rogue. Either was bad, a rogue wolf was worse. They were always out of control.
I turned back slowly and what I saw made me question if Beros was strong enough to fight it, the wolf was foaming at the mouth, had several chunks of hair missing, and it's eyes glowed red.
This was definitely a rogue and feral wolf. Very dangerous. Would Beros be able to fight it off? Or probably burn it with his fire?
