Andy nodded and extended his thumbs up at him, still jumping on the railing. "Okay, it seems like he is. Thank you for being here, thanks Louie too Louie is my absolute best friend, you also know that." - He explained to the audience. - "And he's also here, and I'm really super mega glad, I love you both and hope you're having a great time." - He said, waving at us from a distance. - "Well, let's continue shall we? This next song is dedicated to them. This is One Call Away everyone! After the show Andy ran towards Charlie, wrapping him in a tight embrace that neither of them wanted to let go. Charlie looked at me over his shoulder with pleading eyes and I smiled fondly at him, silently agreeing to let him take Andy. Charlie took him to his dressing room and left them on their own, allowing their bonding time for a while. I knew Charlie would take Andy back to the hotel with him because he texted me he would, so relaxed. Since I had nothing else to do, I caught one of the cars that was about to leave, meeting Sarah who was already inside and catching up with her since we weren't able during the day. It wasn't until after having dinner at the hotel's restaurant that! started to worry about where my son was. "Jeff." - I stopped him midway to the exit of the restaurant by grabbing his arm. - "Where's Charlie?" "His room? don't know. Haven't seen him since after we returned." I huffed and let him go. "Thanks." - I said, turning around, and walking out of the restaurant myself. I quickly got inside the elevator and pressed the button of the fifth floor where Charlie's and mine's suite were. One in front of the other, I knocked on his door two times before letting myself in It's not like he cares if enter unannounced, we have known each other for so long that there's nothing we haven't seen before. There were literally no more boundaries between us, and there hadn't been for years. We know each other to the bone, and the amount of love we shared was over everything else. Over everyone else. It was just what it was. So no, I wasn't going to wait until he let me in, was allowed to Just do so But when I indeed entered the suite, was met with one of the most adorable sights in the world. Andy and Charlie curled around each other, half of the sheets having been kicked out of the way. Charlie's mouth slightly ajar, letting out soft snores, while Andy was resting his head on Charlie's stomach that was going up and down to the rhythm of his breathing. It was endearing, I smiled and cursed at myself for interrupting them, but the truth is that Charlie needed to get a better sleep after his show, so I needed to let him free from Andy's weight all over him. I softly walked round the bed to shake my son awake with the intention to take him back to our room and change him into his pajamas, Maybe even wash his teeth if he was being cooperative. "Dada?" "Yes, baby." - whispered.-"I'll take you to your own grown up bed, okay?" "Mhm "-He nodded, supporting himself by putting a hand on Charlie's stomach that dived down at the touch. "Come here" whispered, getting him up in my arms and cradling his head towards my chest - "You need to sleep well tonight because tomorrow we're taking a plane to France, baby," He might be seven, but he's still my baby "France?" He asked, his head lifting with an enthusiastic-yet sleepy expression. Quite adorable to be honest. "Yeah"- smiled, running my fingers on his fringe to get it out of his forehead. "Ready to go to Paris and see the Eiffel tower?" "Yes!" He almost shouted and shushed him. "Charlie is still sleeping, baby." whispered. "Sorry. He whispered back "Let's get you to bed, yeah? Tomorrow is going to be a great and long day."I said, getting both of us out of Charlie's suite, shutting off the lights and walking across the hallway towards our own room-"Did uncle Charlie wash your teeth?" "'Yes Dada." - He nodded, still sleepily. I slowly lowered him into his bed, tucking him under the blankets and leaving his favorite stuffle-one of the many that Charlie gifted him when he was born-next to his arm. "Thank you." He mumbled, slowly closing his eyes again and resting his cheek on his pillow. "You're very welcome, baby" - I whispered into his ear, kissing his hair gently. He fell asleep almost instantly, Honker nut of the windine and cly pulled the curtains fun to not get any light while we both slept. Taking a deep breath, made up my mind. This just felt right. Andy was happy. was happy. Even Charlie was happier than ever remember him being And we still had weeks ahead of us. So just smiled to myself, relaxing into the incredible soft bed underneath me and drifted off to sleep Paris, here we come! ❤️
