Wednesday. This has got to be my best day in the week. All was going to plan. Boss should be happy, Matt thought.
“Hey Jerry,” Matt called out in a low tone, as he passed him by in the swivel doors of the building they worked in. His blank face was showing no emotion meaning he was briefly happy, a rare sight for him.
“Hey Matt. Ah, you may want to consider taking a longer lunch. Boss isn’t in a good mood.”
“Okay. Thanks for the heads up.”
