Yo yo. We all heard ringing from BJ’s pocket, bringing this surreal moment back into reality. His hand was shaking as he reached into his pocket for his phone, not letting go of us with the other. “Hey, did you just see that?” he answered the call with, straining to say the words. I looked up at his face, stretching my own nerves enough to make sense of the question he had asked. Trying to assess Michaela also, I searched her eyes.
